A lump on the pubic hair area ... confused.. need answers

Hi, I'm new here and I need a few answers about my situation. I'm a male, and all the while there was a slight pain around my pubic hair area. Initially I thought the strands were just intertwined, so I decided to trim the hair. After trimming, I saw a reddish-pimple-like lump on the area where it hurts. Pimple-like, yknow the ones, with a yellowish dot on - I don't know. After two days of confusion I decided to squeeze it and see if there's puss; and there was. I'm not  sexually active - nor is my girlfriend - so I ruled out STD's. it's black or anything that I've read/seen pictures over the internet about STD. I'm just really confused as to what it is; it's a first - need closure.

Y-yeah I'm not used to shaving hair or anything - just maybe a little trimming. I trimmed it and yeah found out that there was a pimple like bump/lump (whatever). So, ok ingrown hair - that got affected. wew! what a relief! :)

If your hairs are a little longer than they could be pulling each other, also it could be an ingrown hair that got infected, once the hair gets long enough it will pop out side the pimple like thing, those are more common if you don't shave often :)

Well, it's not really painful - it's just, I don't know how to describe it really. It's like some sort of weight being attached to you, yknow? It kinda hurt in a way - like what I said - pubic hairs being intertwined and stuff.

Its very normal to get pimples in that area especially if  you shave and sweat a lot. I wouldn't worry about it, put some anti bacterial cream on it and sprinkle some baby powder in you're  underwear next time you'll be doing anything that makes you sweat like exercise or yard work, it will help to keep you dry. No worries

Also, to add - it sometimes hurt when I try to sit up or walk - it doesn't hurt, like "HURT" it's just disturbing cause I feel like there's a restrain or a weight being attached on the pubic area.
