After Iguinal hernea

It's been 20 days since the Inguinal hernia surgery, but the hernia still feels like a water ball (As much as a testicle) on the side of the testicle. My doctor said it will go away in few weeks. Will it take longer to heal? This is a problem for me. Please explain to me?

If your doctor says it's normal, it probably is.

This describes extra fluid, and why you get it after hernia surgery. I'm not sure it's exactly what you are feeling, but it may help explain things.

Make sure you are following your post-op care instructions, too.
