Ejaculation during DRE/prostate exam?

Hey guys, I've got an odd question....I'm male and 28 and healthy, if a bit over-weight. I recently had a physical and was scared I'd get an erection. To my delight, I managed to stay erection free! However, to my horror....something worse happened. About 20 seconds into my DRE I ejaculated. I was completely flaccid, and I don't mean I leaked a little. I flat out shot a load on the table as though I was having sex/masturbating. My doctor told me it was OK, a common occurance, and it happens all the time. But I'm worried. Just how common is this? I didn't know ejaculation could occur from a completely flaccid penis. Am I a freak? Does this happen often? Anyone else have this happen?

Happens to me every time.  My doctor always has tissues handy that he gives me even before he gloves up.

Yes, I have.  It has happened to me numerous times over the years.  I'm in my mid 30s now.  I have difficulty maintaining control over my erection during my exam no matter what I do.  I have ejaculated during the DRE as well as while my Dr was doing the penis/testicle exam.  I'm not circumcised so there are a lot of sensations when retracting the foreskin during the exam.

Good to know it happens to others. You say you were erect at the time, did you have an orgasm? I was soft, got a tingly feeling in my penis, but it was NOT an orgasm from what I felt. Which makes it even stranger. And yes, super ******* embarassing. Did your doc say anything?

It has happened to me, although I was erect at the time.  So extremely embarrassing but I'm sure the doctor has seen it all!

Hi Grimmy, look I dont know just how many men this effects, but the doctor just hit the release button, thats why he said not to worry it happens a lot, it can happen when having foreplay and your g/f or wife slips you the finger, and away it goes, and we really shot our load, if you look around the sex books you will find this is a normal practice, and there is even a musical instrument the can do the same thing and some men love it.
Good Luck
