I'm a 37 y/o male and I've lost the ability to feel pleasure. It happened one night, like turning a switch off. My urologist said the HPA axis is "broken" . But it could be anything, really. Doctors are dismissive because all physical tests were negative and I look healthy. But I have lost the ability to feel pleasure forever. My hips and butt are completely numb.
My genitals feel like rubber. I also feel nothing when I use the bathroom. I don't take any drugs, but I was an addict ten years ago. Did I broke my pleasure receptors ?
There are lots of theories, but it's not common, so unfortunately, there aren't a lot of definite treatments. Did your urologist test your testosterone or thyroid or anything?

This has a lot of scientific explanation, but also has some treatment recommendations - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6127532/ Treatment is usually medical and psychological. Find a urologist who is kinder, perhaps, and more experienced with sexual dysfunctions.
It's mostly thought to be neurochemical. I don't know that it's related to your past addiction issues if it started years after you stopped using.
