I have had love addiction ED for years- is it the same as porn ED?

I've masturbated for years while seducing women from a dating website on the phone, via text, skype but rarely met them.  I  masturbate to woman falling for me and vice versa.  Once they've fallen however I lose interest.  It seems similar to porn addiction where you need novelty to keep getting the dopamine hit.  I  have ED and Viagra can barely get me erect for a woman.  This is a great blog and I am attempting to abstain from masturbation and my love addiction following the prescribed path here.  Does anyone have an opinion if this is the path for someone like me?

Because it is such a longstanding habit, it seems like unless you find something interesting and more absorbing to replace it with, simply "abstaining" is not going to work long term.  If you are serious that this addiction is ruining your life (or breaking some women's hearts, which is certainly unkind) you should probably see a therapist rather than simply trying to guts this out on your own.  All addictions are hard to pull away from, you could use all the help you can get since it is something you have done for a long time.
