Masturbation??

MedHelp I have a question. Sometime in april 09' I started masturbating. After 4 months I started to question is masturbation good or bad? It then it became addicting, so I tried to stop, I couldn't. Then I tried masturbating every 2 days. It worked, but then it just became to addicting so I kept masturbating. About a week later I just stopped. I just did't masturbate. Now I have gone 5 days with out masturbating. I am trying to stop but I still want to do it. Is masturbation bad? Should I stop? Should I continue to mastubate? What are the pros and cons of masturbating? Should I be concerned?
What should I do?

Some more harmful consequences of masturbation

testosterone is essential for many body functions like for eye's oil glands, strengthening root of hair, immune system, memory, concentration, clear skin etc

due to excessive masturbation (it will become excessive if not controlled) testosterone is converted into dht, which will lower the testosterone levels

masturbation associates one to pornography which again bombards the mind with all sexual thoughts, consequence of it is loosing intimate relations, poor creativity, lack of interest in other things, seeing woman as objects of sex etc, poor imagination, lacking dreams, feeling worthlessness etc

Stick with your good decision to stop this worthless activity, never go back...if you failed at times don't give up........try try try........you can stop it..
