Nickel sized mass on male genitalia?

I am a soon to be 23 year old male, and I have what is now a nickel sized mass on the dorsal vein of my penile shaft. It is soft and movable and seems to be able to move with the vein itself. It looks like it may be a massive blood clot or a cyst to myself, and I haven’t had a doctor examine it as it is hard to get into a doctors office currently due to the pandemic. I noticed this mass when I was around years ago and it was roughly the size of a pea and went away and then came back and grew larger. I assume it is just a swelling of the dorsal vein as it is the same color. It doesn’t hurt unless it is moved from the side. I’m not entirely sure what it may be, I’ve searched and searched on the internet and the closest I’ve seen is penile Mondors disease.

I’ve included a link to an image that is non revealing and only shows the mass.

I’ve been looking for answers for a while now and any help would be appreciated, even if it just says go see a doctor. I’m currently trying to get into my doctor but won’t be able to for a while. I hope this post isn’t too NSFW to get answered.

Many thanks and much appreciation!

The best answer is always to go see a doctor.  I looked at the picture and do see what you are talking about.  I'd ask your doctor about lymphangiosclerosis.   https://www.healthline.com/health/lymphangiosclerosis  Check out that link (copy and paste) to read about it. It's hardening of the lymph vessel that connects to the vein.  Looks like a rope a little or bulge.  This article says it is not serious and can go away on it's own even. The one caveat is that it can be the result of an sti if you have had any risk for that.  You'd want to treat the sti, obviously, But it's caused by other things as well.  Doctors seem more willing to also conduct medicine over the phone and may look at a picture you provide and guide you.  I think I'd try to do that.
