Red Scaly Skin With Dull ache in testicles and abdomen

So for the last 4 days I have had a intermittent dull ache in my testicles.  3 days ago I also got a red scaly patch of skin at the base of my shaft (My profile picture) and today I have lower adbomen pain.  The scaly patch doesn't hurt and doesn't really itch either.  There are no raised borders, no discharge, just dry scaly skin with the red patch in that one 1 cm spot.    When handling my testicles the pain increases but it seems to be the same pain.

It's easy to say I don't have the best of hygeine (roughly once a week shower) and I spend roughly everyday crawling around in a hot building.  I am 25 and while I am sexually active, it's with my wife.  I will be scheduling a doctor's appointment sometime in the next two weeks.  Does anything come to mind?

Hi,
Just adding to the reply of  Laneskid1955, after daily bath, dry the affected spot with a towel and apply any medicated powder or an ointment like neosporin ( if you are not allergic to its components and you have used it in the past ) till it clears up. It appears to be a bacterial infection due to sweating and poor hygiene.

You need to shower every day! Swaerign all day long and then having sex with your wife,,,,,you need to shower and clean up your privates, Once a week just isn't going to cut it. Unclean skin is a breeding ground for bacteria and germs......it explains your red maybe irriated spot on your shaft.  "Crawling around buildings all day"  Crouching or crawling can cause testicle pain.....maybe a jock strap to keep the boys in on tight spot...instead of pinched in the seam of your jeans or jostled about
