Red hard bumps on scrotum or inner thighs

I need some help about my problem. For the past 4 years, I have noticing hard red or skin colored bumps on my scrotum or inner thighs. It seems the pop up from time to time especially after sweating or allergy period.

It seems that these bumps go away with sudocrem, but they come back in different parts of the same areas one to most 3 at a time.

What could it be?

You could have folliculitis, which is infected hair follicles, or a fungal infection, or an allergy to something, maybe even just chafing. After so long, the best thing would be to let a doctor see it to get it properly diagnosed and treated.

Agree with all of those ideas, plus don't forget that some people are allergic to substances in (some) laundry detergents. When a rash appears in the underwear area, it could be from an allergy or sensitivity to what the clothes are washed in.
