About two and a half weeks ago I developed itchiness underneath my foreskin, didn't really think anything of it, looked to have a little bit of thrush as I was on antibiotics at the time. After a day or so I woke being very uncomfortable downstairs so I had a shower and pulled my foreskin back and wowsers, yellowish green puss of which had an odour, once washed away it looked like the skin was degrading and exposed a massive sore (area was very ugly). Starting underneath the foreskin to the edge of the head of the penis. I immediately went to see my GP the following day, he said it was a staph infection but was not sure what the cause was. He took swabs to test for Herpes and bacterial agents, tho he said herpes was quite unlikely as its not characteristic of herpes and the last time I had sex was 5-6 weeks ago and was with a condom however oral sex was without a condom. He prescribed me an anti biotic ointment which seemed to help dramatically over the next few days with almost no puss coming from the sore, the skin underneath the foreskin healed and stoped looking like a war zone however the sore on the edge of the head of the penis remains. Tests came back negative for Herpes and bacterial infections so the doctors quite stumped what it could be, it looks to be slowly healing but its taking a god awful long time. Any ideas what it could be or if its just taking a long time to heal because of the area? I will attach pictures of day one, a week in and most recent for reference.
Thank you.
