Toilet habit to prevent skid marks

Hi, This is more of a cultural sensitivity question. I know most people in UK just wipe their bottom with dry tissue and bidets are not common place. Tissue only method can cause skid mark and I don't like the feeling of uncleanliness. What I do is wipe my bottom as normal, then rinse with water from a small bottle using one hand, then dab it with tissue to dry. Then I wash my hands with soap. If any water falls from the bottle on the toilet seat - I wipe it dry with tissue. The question - if I told my housemates, thats how I deal with the issue, will they freak out? and think I am a bit odd? Thanks

What a person does in the bathroom with the door closed is nobody's business but his or her own.  Please.

You are doing what works for you. I'd not school my roomies on that.
