are these light-brown spots on my penis warts?

to preface: i've had warts on the bottom of my feet that i havent been dealing with effectively; so i'm kinda worried that these spots may be warts from accidental contamination or something. near where they are i had a white spot that hurt but i think it was from too much friction it was like a mass of dead skin that eventually went away as it got smaller.

from time to time there is a distinct stinging sensation in the area that isnt very painful and there is no reaction when touched.

if i went to the doctor is this something i should show him? I am a 25 years old and recently sexually active.

There are over 100 strains of HPV, some affect the feet, some affect the genitals, some affect the hands, etc. The ones that affect your feet won't ever affect the genitals, so this isn't an issue of cross contamination. The ones that affect your genitals won't affect your feet, either.

This could be warts, but warts don't cause the stinging sensation you describe, if that's associated with this.

Your recent sexual activity - how long ago was it? Was it your only time? I ask because genital warts have an incubation period (time of infection to the time you get symptoms) of at least a few months, usually longer. So if your recent sexual activity was maybe a week ago, and was your only activity ever, this wouldn't be genital warts. Does that make sense?

Lots and lots of things cause skin bumps, so definitely get it checked by your doctor. You might also want to show him the warts on your feet if they are persistent.

Let us know what happens. :)

Thank you so much for the info; I'm not too worried about it now. my sexual activity of the highest risk was over four months ago. I'm almost certain that the minor discomfort I sometimes feel is just from masturbating too often and for too long.

If i'm unable to treat the warts on my feet I will go to the doctor for them. Thank you again for your very informative answer.
You're welcome.

Be kind to your penis. It's your friend.  :)
