bumps on penis

hello, boyfriend has non-ichy/non painful bumps all around his penile shaft. we have been active for 6 months now and they just appeared 3 days ago, so far they are going down. they are most noticeable after activity and while erected. they look like irritated zits about the size of a round small pill. some look like they have small amounts of pus, but they can not be popped, when they are only blood comes out and then starts to scab.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and hope you are doing well.
I may not be able to confirm the exact cause without a complete clinical examination. A rash around the head of the penis can be due to several causes. The most common skin condition is Pearly Penile Papules. In this condition there are tiny bumps which are white, pink and not painful or itchy. They normally are found at the back end of the penile head and surround the whole circumference. They are harmless and need no treatment. Other possibility is that these bumps could be just due to any irritation or friction. Only your doctor can tell the difference between normal bumps and bumps due to a pathological cause. Seek medical opinion.
Best luck and take care!
