does he masturbate a lot?  I once went through a "dry spell" where I had broken up with a woman and went a few years before I was with someone..in between I frequently masturbated and found that the first few times we had sex I could not ejaculate.  We've now been married 5 years and my wife is having some health problems (nothing too serious) and I"m on a number of medications and am again finding it difficult to reach orgasm.  I do masturbate occasionally (once a month or so).

Perhaps extra foreplay would help...stress, be it work, kids, stuff around the house can also play a part.

Could be stress, medication, or even just a mental block.

I get the same thing.  Sometimes it is just stress.
