my boyfriends gotta problem...

He has been having problems with his balls..tmi sorry. But he went to the doctors and they said that he has a varicose vein going through them that cause him some discomfort. But we tried having sex yesterday he couldn't get a boner no matter how hard we tried. And we tried for over an hour. And when he finally got one it lasted just long enough to put it in and then he got soft... can his balls be effecting him having a boner?? Sorry for the tmi

That is the same thing that happened with me @BreyBreyy. SOmetime I get boners, sometimes they just take a break. I'd recommend your boyfired masturbate before sex with you and get turned on, so that he can deliver something in the bedroom for you.

Um, well, this post is 7 years old so hopefully the problem is solved, but seriously, masturbating in order to get turned on?  If your partner doesn't turn you on and you turn yourself on more, it's time to get a different partner.  The only reason to masturbate before sex, and I doubt there's really any reason other than you just like any excuse to masturbate, which is fine with me, is so you last longer when you do have sex with a partner because you are less turned on given you already masturbated.  But doing that requires both youth and the ability to get an erection.  There are many reasons why men have problems.  Mine are due to prostate surgery.  Others get anxious.  Some have blood flow problems.  Some just really aren't that into sex or their partner.  So I repeat, if you have to masturbate to get into the mood, you're more into yourself than you are into your partner.

Hi,
Once in a while such failures are common, may be due to stress, tiredness etc, but, if it continues he need to consult a urologist. Vericose vein can affect fertility and testicular health, and inturn affect sexual health if not treated for long time.
