penis painless bump

I noticed while masturbating that I have a small hard bump under the skin of my penis on the shaft. There is no pain, no color, it is hard to find when not erect and not really viable at all. It is definitely under the skin as I can stretch the skin out & still feel it on the meat of the penis. Googling doesn't provide much & the closest I can find is a cyst or a lymphocele. Any ideas?

It could be either of those things, or a Fordyce spot.

If it's concerning you, you should show your doctor. It's probably not concerning, but any new lumps or bumps are always worth getting checked.

Thanks.  I think it went away. I could still feel it earlier, did a warm compress & now can't find it.
Good. :) We're here if you need us.
Okay, so the lump comes & goes. Shortly after my last post I was masturbating again & felt it forming, the more I went it got firmer & would be gone hours after. What's interesting I've noticed it only starts form after I apply lubricant. I tried switching lubricants from a water based to a silicone & got the same results (thinking maybe it was a reaction to that lubricant). Plus I would think an allergic reaction would for on the skin, not under it. Any ideas?

I'm always a fan of running this by your doctor. It starts when you put the lubricant on and not after masturbation?

Yes. Once I start rubbing with lubricant it starts to form & gets hard as I progress. Any rubbing dine before applying lubricant doesn't seem to cause anything to happen. I did a dry session, to test this with no lump. Sorry, a lot of details.
details help. Well, it certainly sounds related to the lubricant, doesn't it?

Ok, so it's not the lubricant. My wife returned home (she was gone for a month thus the masterbation) and I felt it return after sex - completely gone within 30 minutes. The next night same thing, except this time it's still there the next morning.  I haven't gotten in to see a doctor yet but hoping to make an appointment today.  Online research seems to point to lympocele.
I'd tend to agree with you regarding lymphocele. Let us know what the doctor says
Should it be lymphocele, how long should I refrain from sexual activity to keep it from reoccurring?
You need to see a doctor. A doctor can answer all those questions, based on the size, location, treatment (if any), etc.
Trying to get in. I first need to go to regular doc to get referral for Urologist. Every where I call says November!
UGH that's awful. I'm sorry. I know how frustrating that is. When you finally get the referral, ask to be put on a cancellation list. When someone cancels, they will call and see if you can fill the appt.
