Hi,
How are you? It is possible to have post-concussion syndrome for months and even years after the incident. This condition is a complex disorder in which a combination of post-concussion symptoms like headaches, tinnitus and dizziness are experienced. There are no specific treatment for post-concussion syndrome but treatment for  the individual symptoms you experience is made by your doctor. Regular follow-up with your doctor is highly recommended. Take care and regards.

I just went through 3 months of post concussion syndrome. Lost my hearing which was treated with prednisone, had a pinched nerve which I sought a chiropractor and physio. I had a sense of dizziness which they though were my ears but in the end with the help of physion it was my eye tracking. Physio helped me greatly with simple excercises to get back on track. I was unable to drive for 3 months and now I am back to driving. I feel there is still room for more healing but was very pleased once they caught on to what my issues were. Hope this helps anyone else.

I'm sorry this is happening to you.

Even if you're not an athlete, you should do some research into athletes who've struggled with concussions. Often, when talking about their stories, they mention how they relieved symptoms, dealt with post-concussion, and reveal who they went to for treatment.

Some that immediately come to mind:

Ryan Miller - football and hockey (different players)
Sidney Crosby - hockey
Andrew Shaw - hockey
Jonathan Toews - hockey
(I'm definitely a hockey fan.)

If your neuro isn't helping, find another one. Find one who specializes in PCS. Let us know what happens, and feel better.
