Hi Rose,
Thanks for the update. It's good to hear that the headaches had stopped and your doctor did not call anymore. If it resolved on its own with no antibiotics given, it could indeed be due to a viral infection. Take care always.
Hello,
Well the headaches have stopped and the Dr. said
he would call if it was something serious.
So no call and no more headaches...Yaaaaaaa!
They think is was some kind of virus like the flu.
Thank you so much,
Rose :-)
Hi Rose,
How are you and your hubby? I hope the blood tests were fine. Ice pick headaches are usually associated with migraine or cluster headaches. Avoidance of triggers may also help. Take care and hope to hear from your soon. Warm regards.
He finally went to the Dr.'s and they think it might be an ice pick headache.
So he went and had a blood test and we will find out on Monday.
If it is not an ice pick headache the Dr. will do a biopsy.
Thank you for your concern.
Rose :-)
Hi,
How is your hubby? Are there other symptoms present? Can you elaborate on the character of the headache? Ear pain usually suggest ear infection. Headaches that are one-sided and throbbing in nature may also be due to migraine headaches. If rest and pain medications do not help, it is best that he checks with his doctor or be referred to an ENT doctor for proper evalaution. Direct clinical examiantion is important. Take care and regards.
