Help with severe migraine sinus pain ?

If started having this migraine behind my left eye about 2 weeks ago. 3 days ago it brought me to my knees vomiting and crying like a child, I could hardly stand. Went to doc, they said cluster head ache and gave me imetrix, later that day my brother took me to the er because it worsened and ct showed fluid in sinuses and they doped me up and sent me home saying sinus head ache. I have a history of head injuries and seizures and its still about the same tapering off every once in a while(only reason I'm able to type this) Other than the pain behind the eye and between eyebrows I have no other sinus symptoms. Can't get in to doc for another week and in am waiting on an approval for Neuro. Any thoughts on what this could be or tests I should ask for? Worse with movement

Sinus pain can be absolutely intense.  My husband had clogged sinuses and was in the state you describe for a while.  Okay, suggestion.  Have you ever heard of a netty pot?  This is something you can get at any drug store.  Use it in your bathroom and it flushes the sinuses.  My husband found relief with this.  Follow up in all the other ways you describe including meeting with a neurologist. but give the netty pot a try to see if it helps with the sinus issue.  My husband was flat out miserable with his headache and this did help him when they found it was related to sinuses.  good luck

by the way, when I say sinuses,  I mean those that are above your eyes.  They are there as well as by your nose.  I am not sure why the netty pot helped other than it helped clear the entire sinus cavity.
