Is this why?

This may be a little long.....
I have been suffering from headaches, sometimes very severe, sometimes not so bad, for the past 6-8 months now.I work with computers on a daily basis.Approx 6months ago I had my eyes tested and they said my eyesight was fine.
I then went to my doctors surgery, however my doctor said he couldn't find anything that was wrong.About 9 years ago, when I was a child I had a fall and banged my head on the concrete, and it immediately came up in a huge lump, about the size of a golf ball.Since then the lump has gone down, but I can still see it, and if I rub my finger down it, it feels like there is a crack. I asked my doctor about this and he said there wasn't a problem with it (However a few years ago he also told me my ankle was just bruised when it was severely broken)
Do you think that I should get my head checked properly as I'm starting to worry about this line that feels like a crack in my head and why I'm getting headaches so much.
I take frequent breaks from the computer and drink plenty of water.I also had my eyes tested again 2 weeks ago, and I still have good eyesight!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! The lump is still noticeable to this day and I can still feel the line.
Thank you

hi,lump could be old fibrosed contusion.Your headcahe may not be related to crack or lump. But still to be on the safer side, i will suggest you to consult Neurologist for proper diagnosis and get yourself investigated.

Also, get your blood pressure checked. I think some anti anxiety medication along with pain killers may prove helpful.Take care!

Hi,
I would not ascribe your headache to the fall during your childhood. The thing you feel as a crack might just be a skull suture which is present normally. Moreover, though the description of headache is very brief, it sounds to me like a muscle tension headache. This can get worse if you worry and get anxious. Kindly relax, don't worry and take symptomatic treatment for the headache. Go in for a second opinion if you have any additional symptoms.
