Left side eye pain, left side headache, and left side stinging and burning skin?

This has been happening for a few days, the first signs were that the corner of my waterline was itchy, and then it gradually started going around my whole left side of my face and up to my scalp. My cheeks are burning, my eye feels like it's being stabbed randomly and my forehead and scalp are itchy beyond belief, it's also causing a one sided headache. I'm not touching it because I don't want to make matters worse. I went to urgent care and they referred me to an eye doctor and he said it could be one of two things, a complex migraine, (which I am diagnosed for three years now with migraines and floaters) or shingles? The only thing about the shingles is, I've never had chicken pox and I had the vaccines, I believe it's still possible but very unlikely and no rash? I don't know. I'm obviously not a doctor but I feel like something else is wrong with me and would like other inputs . Also, I'm 19 years old.

Hi and welcome to the Migraines & Headaches Community.

You are describing allergic reaction symptoms. I don't know if it is from shingles, medication or something else but you need to get to an ER ASAP!!! If the doctor gives you attitude then ask to see another doctor. Go now, asap!
