Throbbing Headache in one particular point

The pain lasts just less than a second but it comes in intervals.
Also the area where the pain comes is tender to touch, it looks like a very small bump is there in the same place. What could this be?

These might be ice pick headaches, or stabbing headaches.

Usually, these aren't serious, but since you have a lump and it's new for you, it's really important that you get it checked by your doctor to rule anything serious out. Don't hesitate in doing this.
