I am so sorry what your daughter is going through i have had migraines since 1998 and right now going through hell...i also have many different visual issues, unable to focus, spots, cracked vision...be sure to keep up with all medical tests and regular dr visits and update any new symptoms...you dont say your daughters age but i think if you explain the visual issues are not hurting her that they are just something that happens with headaches and try to not let her get too upset about it and explain you are working at getting her better and that they can go away could help...it is important for her not to be in high places and to be careful in public places in case she has a fall but trying to keep as close to normal routines is good... Best wishes to your daughter and strength to you...hopefully she is feeling better soon!!!

My daughter has seen 3 neurologists and another type of specialist. She is on both a preventative, receives injections and has abortive medications, ice does not help, or sunglasses or laying in a dark room. We also use deep breathing, a hot water technique I learned about, massage and we're starting to use reflexology. The only known triggers of her migraines are hormones and leaning forward. We understand that her migraines aren't going to go anywhere anytime soon, it's  just the eyes going weird really bother and upset her and the persistence and severity, I'm just hoping to find something, anything to help this symptom. I'm scared any time she tries to stand up or walk that she'll fall and hurt herself.

Hi,
Visual symptoms may indeed be a part of a migraine attack and severity varies. Both preventive and acute migraine medications may help. Though ice pack and identifying  the migraine triggers and avoiding them may greatly help. If it persists, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor or be referred to a neurologist for proper evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
