What can this be

For days now i've had a terrible headache that comes and goes. There are times are feel a sudden pain to one side of my head. My eyes burn, my vision is a little more blurry than usual even with my glasses on. I have pains in my neck just at the base of my shoulder and my hands some time feel funny. They feel full and when i try colsing them its difficult cause they are so tight at the joints. Sleep is the only solution. I don't liek taking drugs so i've tried taking nothing except increase my intake of water.

Hi,
There is a possibility that you are suffering from migraine. I would suggest you to try and identify a precipitating factor for your headache if any.You should consult aneurologist to undergo a complete physical and neurological examination.

You need to consult with a Neurologist. If you have problems at the base of your neck you could have a narrow brainstem causing a vertebrobasilar migraine. You could have cervical spondylosis or even a pinched nerve. You need to consult with a Neurologist to rule out anything, could just be a migraine, or something a little more serious. Try to see one with in the next week, you could get prescribed a triptan to get rid of your migraine (how awesome would that be)
