headache /blured vision

I have had a headache every day for the past 2 months, some days worse than others,it can be anywhere on my head from behind my eye to a dull pain on top of my head.It seems to start from the back of my neck and behind my ears,i also have loud ringing in my ears and i also fill a bit light headed.Went to the doctors who said it was more than likely a tension headache but since i saw him my right eye does not fill normal,it often fills like i have just woken up ,a bit blured.Have been back to the doctors and saw a diferent doctor, she did some test like looking into my eyes with the light and she got me to do some test like walking toe to heal which i struggled with so i guess my balance is not that good also took my blood presure which was very high which may have been because im so worried about these headaches. She is getting me an appointment at the hospital but she says she is almost certain my headaches are nothing serious but im working myself up into such a state because im sure with all my symptoms i must have a brain tumor, all this worry is not making my blood presure any better,i just need to know if i can have all these symptoms and not have a brain tumor or if someone else has had these symptoms with the ringing in the ears and been alright.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

This sounds like a problem involving the inner ear. Firstly however, it is important that this condition has to be ascertained on whether it is central or peripheral. Central problems may affect the brain and spinal cord. More peripheral ones are nerve related and may affect innervation of certain structures responsible for balance such as the inner ear. You have noted ringing of the ears as well as you have also presented difficulty with gait and balance. A complete ENT assessment to determine any ear involvement is needed. Also, a neurologic referral is important.

Have you been diagnosed with hypertension before?

What is your average blood pressure prior to your symptoms?

Seek immediate neurologic consult. At his point, I do not think this should worry you but an early neurologic assessment will help put you at ease .

Go to the neurology community on this web site.  Read the complaint that one person named mkellyrn posted regarding headaches.  I responded to this question with my experience.  It was just posted 6 minutes ago by "nanaofabby" which is me.  I think your situation sounds ALOT like mine started and especially with the visual disturbances.  Please seek good medical care!
