Hi,
That is good to hear! Knowing the possible cause of the headache is also a way of reducing the stress it causes. Just continue with the pain killers your doctor prescribed and do keep us posted. Merry Christmas!

I talk to my docter and she thinks it might be a pinched nerve. She seen a few patents get this. so we trying a some pain killers that are for nerve pain and it that doesn't help then she going to get me an appointment to see the nerual-specialist. I was able to sleep a little better last night so that helped a bit too.

I haven't had any trauma to my neck.

I hope this gets better.

Hi,
How are you? Aside from cluster headaches, error of refraction and another primary headache, tension headache, may be considered. Was there a previous trauma to the head or neck? Cold packs and taking abortive medications to prevent a full blown attack may also help. If over-the-counter pain medicines do not work, you may need stronger prescription drugs to provide you with relief. Prescription medication such as triptans and ergots are also effective in stopping migraine attacks. Talk to your doctor about this and determine which is best for you.  Take care and do keep us posted.
