more qustions than answers

I am 23 yrs old and suffer from a number of health problems which include; basiler artery migraines, chronic asthma and deminished air flow, tachycardia(my heart beats to fast), fibromyalsia, and bipolar disorder.  I was wondering if anyone else who suffered from Basiler Artery Migraines had severe memory problems? Or if they had problems taking thoughts from their head to their mouth or paper. I mean to say one word and at times come out with something totally different and I have started switching letters around when writing. Such as, instead of writing the word MUCH I instead would write MUHC and at times have substituted the number 6 for the letter S. If anyone out there has these same symptoms or knows more about it please let me know.

Confusion, dizziness, slurred speech are known to occur in basilar artery migraine. The symptoms that you describe can very well be due to mental confusion.

I would suggest you to avoid alcohol, low blood sugar, stress, sleep deprivation, caffeine, and physical exertion as these are known triggers for basilar migraine.

If you get no help I would try another web site for migraines I received a lot of help from a different site which enabled me to understand more about my difficulties and get properly diagnosed and treated. Try migrainepage, hope this helps, mine is severe concussion related, take care.
