Hi,
I am sorry about your chronic problem. The account you provide of your symptoms seems consistent with migraine with visual aura. The severity of migraine is known to be highly variable and unfortunately you seem to suffer from severe migraine. Nonetheless, there are good pharmacological options available for prevention of migraine and I hope you have been on them. Moreover, see if you can determine if there are any precipitating factors for the attack and try to avoid them.
