Low Pressure System Triggers Migraine

Does anyone find that low pressure systems bring on migraines?  After years of trying to figure out what triggered my migraines (menstrual cycle, certain foods, red wine, etc.) the only constant each time I got a migraine was an approaching low pressure system.  My migraines are most frequent in the winter and spring when storms are moving in...once the snow/rain starts, my symptoms begin to dissipate.  My migraines can last up to five days.  Am I the only one??

My husband is the best weather predictor around. Even if the weather service says no storms, he says "Yes there will be" and he's always right. His migraines go on a roller coaster when pressure systems move through.

Hi ltllitig8r!

Yes! That is pretty much my only migraine trigger. Changes in weather often, if not always, trigger a migraine for me.

I think that pressure changes are a very common migraine trigger.
