Advice

Ladies,
Thank you for you all.  This website has made me feel like I am not alone.  Miscarried at 5wks started to bleed very heavy and doctor said I needed a D&C.  Whan I went for my check-up he said I needed another D&C that I had the sac left in me! Could not believe it? but went through with it.  Yesterday my HCG came back at 1200, Doc said too high so he suggested a shot of Methotrexate.  He said he did not see anything but my number should be a lot lower.  Had the shot and feel kinda crappy.  My question is has anyone experienced this?  Did anyone have any side effects to this shot?  Trying to stay strong and pray.  My husband is fed-up with my crying and feeling so sad.  He is very sweet but he wants me to be stronger.  But like all you out there know it has consumed my life.  I want to feel normal again.  Thank you for listening.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage yesterday at 4 weeks so. I did not have methotrexate or D&C but can only imaging the pain you are going through. Stay strong and you will feel normal again. I wish you and your husband all the best.

I am so very sorry for your loss!  I know what you are going thru as I just found out I miscarried yesterday at (5 weeks).  This will be my 3rd loss this year..(Jan - miscarried, Jun - ectopic and now miscarried again).  Although, I have not had Methotrexate or D&C, I can only imagine your emotional distress.

I know there are no words that can make this any better, as time seems to be the enemy!!  I have tried not to look to the future and how "far behind" you think this may put you...try to live in the moment.  You WILL get through this and feel normal again!  It is amazing how strong we can be!

I wish you all the best!!

Brenda

PS - cry all you want...:-)
