Beta results

Hi all,
This is the first time i write in a forum :) i am so confused and thought maybe someone could help me :)
So basically this is my second IVF. They transfer two "nice" fresh embryos on february 19th. 12 afterwards i took my first beta test and it came out 18. Two days after beta was only 30. Another 2 days and 49 and one day after that 70. Called Dr, and he said i should stop progesterone and have another blood test in 5 days. so today i went (17 days after embryo transfer) and the result was 645. I am so confused!!!
So i called my dr again and he told me to start taking progesterone again and re test in 2 days. Wow. I thought that was it and all of sudden there is a chance again :)
Does anyone know if there is still a good chance this preganancy can develop?
Also, i went to another doctor yesterday for a general check and he said that it is inside the uterus (at least that!) but that it did not look good as it was blurred - maybe, he said, cause i will miscarry soon (body preparing for miscarry). My own Dr, said today that with a 700 beta there is anything they can actually check ir see!
Thank you very much!!!!!!!!! xoxoxox

I'm not sure.  Your first beta's didn't look good but since it's jumped so much then I would think that maybe you were just slow to get going.  I think you will just have to wait and see with this one.  I think usually your beta has to be over either 1000 or 2000 (can' t remember which) for anything to be seen on ultrasound.  I wish I could help out here, but I just don't know.  Are you continuing with the blood tests?  And do you have an appt yet for an ultrasound?  Good luck and I sure hope you have a healthy and strong little one in there (and she/he stays in there for the next 9 months!!)
