Blithed ovum???

Is it possible for the Dr. to be wrong. I went for a sonogram and they told me the gestational sac shows i should be about 7 weeks 5 days, but they saw no yolk sac. The dr says i am most likely going to have a mis carriage. But there are rare times it just cant be seen till about 10 weeks. They checked my HCG levels and say they are still high. I ha ve no spotting at all. I go back in a couple of days for another sonogram. I'm so upset, is it possible he is wrong?

There is always a possibility, did they do a transvaginal scan or the straightforward one?  The best advice I was ever given, although it's hard, is to prepare for the worst but hope for the best.  It's a horrid thing to be going through and I really hope it turns out ok for you xx
