Did I have a Miscarriage?

I have been told that I couldn't have children. I'm 27 years old but have severe scar tissue in my abdomen; I also have a sliding hiatal hernia that causes me to throw up after many meals. I have been using wild yam cream to try and control hormone levels for the past two years as an alternative to birth control pills. A few months ago I reduced the amount I used because of symptoms such as night sweats. Reducing it fixed the problem. My period is always on time but this month it was 6 days late, On the sixth day (Sunday) I took a pregnancy test which came back negative. Later that day, I began spotting. That night I woke up covered in sweat. I had cramping like normal that began a week prior to the spotting and lasted until two days ago. I passed a grey, solid-like clot on Monday day and began bleeding a little more with one or two red clots but still very light. The third and forth day I was back to barely any blood, mostly just when I wiped and it was mostly pink or brown. For the past two weeks I have been throwing a little more than usual, I have been an emotional wreck and having to urinate very frequently. Could this have been an early miscarriage even with a negative pregnancy test? If not, what else could it have been? I am going through menopause?

I'm sorry for your loss. I actually didn't have severe pain with it. I believe I have waited too long at this point for a doctor to tell for sure. It's been a week since it happened and everything seems to be back to normal. Thanks for your input.

This sound a lot like what I had. I'm 27 years old also and I passed a solid grey colt it was about the size of my hand. I have a 5 year old daughter and I have too say that when I passed this colt it was the worst pain ive ever felt but after talking too my mom about it she said yes that I miscarried. You should go too the E.R or your dr and see if they can give you a clear answer.
