Do I need to tell the doctor that I'm having a miscarriage?

In Mid April I missed a period me and my boyfriend had split up just before I missed it and I didnt tell him and didnt think anythign of it because my periods are quite irregular. Last Monday me and my boyfriend got back in touch with each other and he asked me if I had a period I said no and he told me I'd missed two periods and I needed to take a test. On thurseday I had brown discharge and teh same with Friday durign the day, I thought this was my period so I refused to take a test but my boyfriend made me do it anyway and it came out positive and that I was 3 weeks pregnant which was not right as it had been about 5-6 weeks since we had slept together. Friday night I went to the toilet and some biggish clots came out and I had some bad cramps, saturday the same but sunday it stop and now theres no clots just a medium flow. I have had a misscarriage before so I know what it's like but this one is quite different. I haven't bled as heavy as the last time and the clots have been much smaller also I am not in as much pain as the last time. I didn't get a chance to tell my doctor I was pregnant so do you tihnk I should tell them about the second misscariage as I am not on teh register at my doctors yet and wont be able to book an appointment till next week when hopefully the bleeding would have stopped. what shall I do?

Yes you should talk to your doctor just to make sure the miscarriage was complete. Also if your blood type is rh- you would need to have a rhogam shot for any bleeding during pregnancy. I'm very sorry for your loss. And good luck .

I am currently misscarrying and my doctor told me to come back on Thursday for an ultrasound just so they can be sure everything is out. So I think you should definitely tell your doctor. Make an appointment specifically for that.I'm so sorry for your loss.

I think you should tell your dr.  the next time you see them.  \It's your body, you only get one and you need to take  care of it.  Even just to make sure everything is flushed out of your system.. I had an ultra sound after my second miscarriage to make sure  I was ok.

I def think you should tell you doc, cuz if u did (and it sounds like u did) miscarry and all that stuff didnt come out you can get a really bad infection that is life threatening if not takin care of. I have had 3 miscarriages and they have all been a lil dif so dont ignore it.. good luck and hope everything is ok.

I would for sure go to the doctor and get checked out.  You would want to make sure that you did in fact miscarry and that everything was expelled from your body.

Good Luck!
