Pregnant after D and E

I miscarried one month ago and my Dr performed a D and E. I have yet to have a period and I took an over the counter pregnancy test and it came back positive. This is of course after 4 weeks. Is it possible that I may be pregnant? The symptoms I had before I do not have those now. No nausea, breast tenderness etc.

I was only 6 weeks according to the ultrasound and my levels had gone back down to 0 as of my last appointment. The Dr had even prescribed birth control pills but that was after my partner and I decided we couldn't keep our hands off one another. i am scheduling an appt with my Dr for a blood test.

I agree, do you known if your levels had dropped yet?  If you had the D&E it takes longer for the levels to drop than if you had a D&C.  Have you had a follow up apt yet?  I had a D&C and they said I needed a follow up at 4 weeks to make sure everything was back to normal.

I had a D & E after my baby had no heartbeat at 16 weeks. I didnt have my period for 6 weeks after that. It could be possible you are pregnant but I think it depends how far along you were for the HCG levels to drop. You should call your doctor, whish you well
