Miscarried, passed two grew lumps - twins? HELP!

Im having a miscarriage and i know I'm supposed to pass a greyish lump, that's the baby. There's been some other greyish tissue too and I know that's to be expected but today I passed a second lump. It seems like too much tissue to be one baby. Could i have been pregnant with twins? They were almost an inch long and 1/4 of an inch or so wide. I know the first had a small red spot in it, I buried it thinking it was my baby. I'm only four weeks pregnant so I cant imagine there would be a lot to see and I was very surprised to find a second lump. I didnt look for the red spot, I just flushed it. Now I wish I hadn't. Has anyone else had this happen? Has anyone who KNMOWS they were only pregnant with one baby passed two decent sized lumps? My doc just blew me off on the phone :(

Clysta is right...maybe your dates were wrong.  As for your doctor blowing you off, I'd find another doctor next time for sure.  You want someone who cares about you and what you're going through, not just someone who wants to get the money from the insurance company.  God bless you and good luck :)

Being that you were so early on, I don't believe you actually pass anything similar to that. Mostly it would resemble a period. At 4 weeks of pregnancy, baby is the size of a period at the end of a sentence. At around 9 weeks it would be around an inch in size. Are you sure of your dates?
