Miscarried and am wondering if my endometrium lining optimal for implantation?

My LMP was 3/13/09. My lining was measured at 7.2mm on 3/24/09/ On 4/13 I found out I was pregnant and the follwing day I was having a miscarriage. The ultrasound on 4/14 was 7mm? Shouldn't it have been thicker? Could this be why I miscarried so early?

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I've had 3 MC and nothing was said about the lining.  I would recommend talking to your doctor to get some  insight.  Good luck.

I have learned you can't always believe everything you read. I would not worry too much until you get in talk with your dr. Yes I have 3 kids and I'm 28 almost 29 wks pg with my 4th. I have had genetic testing done as well as rh factor testing and I'm not a carrier. I still have not been given a reason why I suffered so many losses. I did realize last yr everytime I miscarried I had a very severe urinary tract infection it could be coincidence but I feel that it contributed to my losses last yr. As for the other 2 to this day I don't know why. They were 2nd trimester m/cs. The 4 last yr were first trimester losses. Did you have a u/s when you were in the er if not they may have not known if your lining was thin etc. For now I would continue taking pre-natal vitamins and maybe give your dr a call and find out if there is a good supplement you cant take over the counter while waiting for your app. Try not to take anything without your dr's okay. Your dr may say take nothing until you see he or she! Best wishes to you and take care. Keep me posted and let me know what happens!

Hi Thanks for responding. I'm very sorry for your losses.
This was my first pregnancy and the ER Drs didn't say anything about my linging being thin.  They just said "it happens"  I've just been doing a lot of research and have read many different things.  some say under 6mm is a problem while others say 8mm is the minimum.  I haven't seen a DR yet.  My appt in on the 11th.  But I will be sure to ask.

Have you had any successful pregnancies?  Have you been tested for a cause?

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sorry I have no idea. I myself have had 6 m/cs and was never told anything about lining etc. Did you try and post over in the fertililty forum or the ask a dr forum? What has your dr said? I know there are medicines or supplements you can take to thicken it! Best wishes to you I wish I could have been more help! Take care!
