is it a miscarriage or my period?

Hi, I am a mom of 3 and have had one other miscarriage in my life. i had a positive pregnancy test yesterday but today i'm bleeding like i have my period. what is going on?

I would def try to get checked out. There must be some type of clinic or even go to the er and tell them you have no ins they will help you obtain at least state ins you will need if you are pg if you are not at least it can cover a few dr's apps or trips to the er. It doesn't matter if you didn't have bleeding before every pg is different. I wish you the best. Good luck and keep me posted.

the thing is i didn't bleed at all during any of my other pregnancies. i don't have medical insurance and can't see a doctor. the bleeding has now stopped and so i guess i'll take another pg test since i'm still nauseous and such.

Did you just take the hpt? Bleeding is a very common side affect of pg expecially early in pg. I would go get checked out and have your blood drawn. If you are having a m/c you want to make sure an infection doesn't happen etc. I'm sorry you are going through this. Best wishes to you and let me know what happens.....

I had a period then continued to spot ended in mc.  But you never know you definately need to see a doctor to get your hcg levels checked.  They told me you can bleed and still have a normal pregnancy unfortunately that was not the case for me. But my mother told me she had one period after she knew she was pregnant with my sister and everything turned out fine.

I experienced something simular, I was pregnant and at five weeks had my period and took a pregnancy test and it was negative I misscarried
