Normal hcg levels?

I have had 2 miscarriages in the last 6 months, and I am a healthy 32 yr. old. My doctor did run a bunch of tests and the only thing he could really find was low progesterone. I started ovulating last Thursday or Friday, and I started taking my progesterone supplements on Sunday night. I am pretty sure that I am pregnant, but I am not due for my period until 3 more days. I called my doctors office yesterday b/c I was having some really weird cramping, and they told me that I could go ahead and take a blood test. The assistant called me today to tell me that I need to retake the test on Monday b/c my hcg level was at 7. I took the blood test 4 days before my expected period, is a level 7 a bad thing this early on? I am so anxious and I am just really praying at this point.

Thank you so much for your advice. I am really trying to relax, and put it in God's hands! I want a baby so bad, but I know it will happen in His Time. It is just so hard to go through the miscarriages, but I know all of this will be worth it in the end!

I'm sorry for your losses. Congrats on your bfp. It may be too soon to have gotten some big numbers because you haven't technically missed your period yet. I'm a woman who has low numbers in the beginning and the same may apply to you as well. At this point the dr's like to see the numbers go up every 48-72 hrs. My previous obgyn was not a numbers dr he just liked to see them rise. Your dr may have a different medical approach. I would relax and enjoy being pg. I'm a poas addict so when I took my hpt it was 9 days before my period was due. I too had to go back and have a re-draw due to low numbers. I wouldn't be worried not yet. It's scary it really is but take things as they come. Feel free to post any questions you may have or you can leave me a message. Best wishes to you. Let me know what happens...Congrats again!
