Period after miscarriage

I had an incomplete miscarriage at the end of August. After getting a d&c my period has not returned. I've only had a bit of spotting for two days last week. Is this normal?

Depends on when the initial bleeding has stopped after a D&C
If it has stopped and is gone for 20 days expect it to come 4 to 7 weeks after.

and yes, it is normal. your first cycle maybe spotting, light bleeding, normal, or heavy. they normally are on the fritz which is why the dr says to wait 3 cycles before trying again...that way it is back on track. It also depends on how far along you were when it happened.
Mine was 4 weeks along when I lost it and my hcg levels dropped to 5 by the following friday after (a week after it happened)
it is now almost 4 weeks so I am expecting it to come either friday or anytime up to the 4th of december.

I was 12 weeks although it stopped developing at 11. My bleeding stopped 2-3 days after. I had spotting in Sept and also in Oct. I'm just hoping that it stabilizes, as I really want to try for a baby as soon as possible.

I saw your post .. Can you go from bleeding from a d&c into a period, I had a D&C on October 20, 2009  I have been bleeding every since for four weeks i went to the doctor to get my levels checked. I assumed i went right into a period is is possible?
