Please help big question?

I had a U/S at 7 weeks preg. TV and showed ges. sac, yolk and pole.  All said to be irregular.  I also saw a heart beat of 126.  Is it normal to see Heart beat and still miscarry.  I also have a tilted utereus or retroverted uterus which I heard could make the u/s irregular.  ANy one have similar story or advise?

I too haven't got problems with my uterus but i heard my babies hb at 5 weeks 3 days and then when i went back for a scan at 6 weeks 3 days there was no heartbeat and i too started a natural m/c the next day.
Once i saw the hb at that 5 wk scan all my hope rose but then i was disappointed when i had problems a couple of days later. The scan i had at 6 wks 3 days showed the baby had stopped growing at 6 wks and on that day i had alot of painful cramping.
But you keep up hope, there is always that bit of hope there until you're told otherwise. Good Luck

I'm so sorry your are dealing with this. I too have not had any issues with my uterus. I do know that it is possible to see the fetus and hb very early on and also have the opposite where dates are off and you see nothing and need a repeat u/s. My ob has told me as for the heart rate anything under 100 becomes worriesome.  I also agree with Bam...when seeing the hb that usually drops your chances of a miscarriage quite a bit but the numbers are still pretty high until the 2nd trimester and in some cases like mine they remain until about 20 wks or so. Please know every pg is different and every woman and situation is too. There are many women in your position who go on to have a healthy baby and in some cases unfortuneately they don't. I would go for another u/s and get your blood drawn to see if your numbers are dropping. I would try to get as much rest as possible and stay well hydrated.  Right now is the waiting period and believe me it stinks. Please keep your head up and try to remain positive. Best wishes to you and your baby. Please let me know what happens.....

I completely agree with bam, well said.

I am also very sorry you are going through this. Try to take it day by day until your next u/s
Take care and let us know what happens.

I did not have a problem with my uterus, however at 7W my gestational sac was measuring small and we did hear a HB (133bpm).  I was given a 50/50 chance of m/c and when I went back a week later for the follow up u/s the HB was gone and I started having a naturall m/c that next day.  During that long week of waiting, I did a lot of research and honestly the outcomes that I found were 50/50.  They do say that once you hear the HB, that is a very good sign.  So don't give up yet!  There is still hope.

I am truly sorry that you are going through this.  I know while I was waiting I asked a million questions and just wanted somebody to be honest with me about what my chances were.  I hope the best for you and that your outcome is the exact opposite of mine.  As I said in the other post, you are in my prayers.
