Thank you. I love how supportive everybody is here, it helps a lot. I just got off the phone with my doctor (she called me after hours which was really nice) and we've decided to try progesterone suppositories as soon as I get a positive. She was really supportive and said that although we aren't sure whether these are chromosomal problems or problems with my uterus or hormones we can try that so at least we are doing something and we'll see how it goes. I am very hopeful for our next pregnancy! Waiting a month to get a normal period then we will start trying :)
Keep hope alive. We are all rooting for you with bady star dust.
They did recognize that this too was a pregnancy and that it was a chemical one. They didn't seem worried and acted as if I can go on to having a successful one after and even said we can try again in 2 weeks. I don't however feel as confident. If another one occurs they said we can begin testing. I willl continue to take folic acid and may even start on juice plus, I heard it's incredible!
I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you the best of luck as you try to figure out what is happening and pray that you have a healthy pregnancy soon. It's so hard losing them, doesn't matter how far along you are.
Sorry to hear that. No, I wouldn't think anything is wrong with you. It is unfortunately pretty common to have early losses like yours. :(
BUT-- since you've had 2 now (will your doctor recognize that?) maybe you could get some testing to see if there's a reason. I just had my 3rd loss, and I am awaiting results of the testing to see if there is a reason they can pinpoint. Not getting my hopes up, though.
I would wait a month or two, take prenatals or Flinestone vitamins and folic acid, and try again. Good luck!!
Do you think there is something wrong with me? Why 2 in a row?
Oh no I am so sorry to hear this!
morning home test came back negative. began spotting later in the day. another chemical pregnancy.
I will find out tomorrow what the blood test says. And I know the nurse didn't mean to, it was more like she wasn't sensitive to it and all she said after the doctor talked to me was "Yeah, that was weird about the negative". I know my body, and my husband was there with me when I took the pregnancy tests at home and the second line showed up way within the 10 minute limit. (Like 4 minutes on friday and then 3 minutes yesterday) I'm taking another one tomorrow morning with my first morning urine. It's better than waiting to hear from the doc tomorrow afternoon.
Aw, that s ucks not knowing now for sure. When will you get the results of the blood test? Everything after a m/c is confusing, the nurse should definitely NOT have made you feel like you were crazy!
Thank you. Went to the doctor today and took a urine pregnancy test around 3:30 and it came back negative? So they drew blood. Has that ever happened to anyone? I've peed A LOT today and my 2 positives at home were used with first mornig urine. I need answers...I know I am not crazy but the nurse kind of made me feel that way.
Congrats! Good luck to you.... Sending you SSBD and positive thoughts!!
Got a not as faint positive this morning and stronger symptoms! Calling the doctor tomorrow and setting up an appointment. Going to be a lot more worried with this one! Did anybody ever have cramps when 4-5 weeks pregnant? I've had slight off and on cramps, almost like menstrual but not as severe. Starting to make me nervous because of what happened last time. No spotting though, just slight cramping and pressure.
I can tell you I had a miscarriage at 14 weeks and I am now 31 weeks pregnant. I did fall pregnant after my first period but it can happen. Goodluck I am hoping for the best.
Tested this morning, very very very faint second line on the first response test. So faint that I'm doubting it. Will retest Sunday!
Still no period! Wondering if I am judging right though on my cycle? Has anyone here had a chemical pregnancy and when did your cycle return to normal? (I figured out that the miscarriage was because of a chemical pregnancy)
Thank you, that is such a relief to hear! The doctor said it was probably a blighted ovum or had trouble implanting? It was my first pregnancy and the miscarriage happened so early that the doctor wasn't concerned. It was a very rough time though. I am hoping that the hubby and I can get pregnant soon! Still waiting on my period, I expected it 30 days after my hcg levels reached zero, so yesterday is when I should have started if my theory was correct. Crossing my fingers!
And I am sorry about your losses, I know how rough it can be. Best of luck!
I agree, I don't think there are any statistics to show that the risk is any higher after one m/c. From experience, I conceived my 4th child immediately after an early m/c, and I had a perfectly healthy, normal pregnancy. Good luck!
there is nothing to worry about i think there is no a proved fact which prevents a women from concieving after an early miscarriage so you just have to take care and relax and plz tell me if everything went fine.coz i was pregnant and miscarried then after two months i got pregnant again but miscarried again dont be worried because of what i said my problem is different than yours..did the doctor tell what was the cause of the miscarriage?????
