Slow rising hcg levels

Does anyone have a slow rising hcg success story?

------------(My History below)----------------

I'm about 6 weeks pregnant; last period 4-23-11. I am 40 yrs. old. Although this is my 5th pregnancy I have only one child. My first pregnancy at 38 yrs. old gave me a beautiful boy. He is 2.5 yrs.

Since his birth I have had:
- a 7-wk. miscarriage back in July 2009; doctors guess chromosome abnormalty; didn't save tissue
- 6-wk. miscarriage back in February 2010; doctors guess chromosome abnormalty; was going to save tissue but didn't come out "whole"
- and a 11 wk. d&c back in July 2010; had a blighted ovum; there wasn't enough tissue to test

We met with a fertility clinic last summer after the blighted ovum. Since fall 2010 I have tried 5 IUI attempts to no avail. We were saving/borrowing for IVF to try this mid-summer/next fall. In between the IUI and ivf I am now pregnant naturally. I have been under close monitor with the fertility clinic and my hcg levels are not going up as quickly as the dr. would like. She thinks I will miscarry soon. From my past histories mentioned above the 6/7 weeks are my "bad news" times. The hcg particulars are:
- 5/24/11 53
- 5/26/11 134; then downhill from here
- 5/31/11 420
- 6/02/11 557
- 6/07/11 1061
My hcg seems to double every 5 days not 2/3 days.

Well, I made it to 10 weeks with my 6th pregnancy (only 1 live birth). I have a "normal" pregnancy at this point with a heartbeat. 30 more weeks (hopefully).
