What Should I Do?

So in December I found out I was pregnant.  Then about 4-5 days later I started bleeding.  I want to the Emergency just to make sure everything was alright.  I was only 5 weeks pregnant but she did an ultrasound and saw nothing...  Of course she wouldn't see anything it was too early.  For the first 10 minutes she was looking at my bladder and realized it was not my uterus.  She then found my uterus and looked for about a minute and said she could only see blood.  I had 2 large clots and bled moderately for the average time my period would be.  I had absolutely no pain.  I think I may have miscarried... but I'm having doubts.  Should I wait it out and see if I get my period this month or go ahead to get another pregnancy test.  I feel kind of silly having hope like this but everything ended to openly and I would just like a definite yes or no.  I have had tenderness and mild swelling in my breasts as well as the areola are becoming darker... I had it in the beginning then it went away all my symptoms went away and now they're back.  IF I was still pregnant I would be about 7-8 weeks.  After typing all of this out I feel like the correct answer would be to see a doctor.

I'd suggest getting a check up.  If you did m/c, you'll want to make sure everything has passed.  Being so early, it probably did, but doesn't hurt to check with the doctor.  And like someone else said, you will still show + on an hpt until the hcg is out of your system and sometimes that can take a while.  I'm really very sorry.

Even if you have lost the baby, a hpt would still show as positive because of the remaining hormones in your body. I lost my baby on thursday and had lots of pain and bleeding. For one day, then the pain went and bleeding calmed down. My symptoms also went but have now come back again. I hope you don't end up the same as me. Fingers crossed for you.

Yes just wait it out that sounds almost just like my situation but I just had a great big gush of blood than nothing. Just wait it out things should be OK. Take it easy and just rest. Listen to ur body.
