back to back miscarriages

I tried to conceive for 4 years. Finally did in March and then I lost it at 8 weeks. Before getting a period after taht miscarriage I got pregnant again which I couldn't even believe! Went to the doctor today and the baby stopped growing. They are giving me a week to see if I miscarry on my own or else they are going to schedule another dvc. I am so upset. Hopefully this time they will be able to tell why and give me advice for what I can do in the future. Has anyone had back to back miscarriages and gone on to have a healthy child? I can really use some hope right now.

Thanks so much. I'm so sorry for all you have been through, I actually had the dye test done and it was fine. They found out i have some kind of mutation called mthfr which makes me not absorb enough of the b vitamins or folic acid. It also means that sometimes the blood is too thick and the placenta can't get enough to sustain it. They think next time I try they can give me a blood thinning drug called levonox or something. We shall see. After I miscarry this baby they have a bunch of supplements they want me to start taking. We shall see. I'll let you know and good luck and keep me updated. All the best. Thanks!

yes first of im so sorry 4 you i no how you feel.. in the last nearly 2 yrs of me trying iv'e had early misscariages they call it chemical pregnancy iv'e had 8 in total. iv'e had all the blood test done you can think of but hopefully 2mrw when i go to have a laproscomy and dye test done they will be able to see why. they think i might have cysts or polyps which they will remove there and then that can cause early misscariagess. if i were you i would ask your g.p to refer you to see your gyny and see what they say and maybe ask about the dye test just to rule out i realy hope all ends well 4 you in the end if you need 2 talk im here i'll let you no how i get on all the best lynne from the uk.:D  AND DON'T GIVE UP IT WILL HAPPEN I PROMISE..
