bicornuate uterus

Hi I've just been diagnosed with a bicornuate uterus.  I was spotting last sunday and had an ultrasound on monday.  They found a gestational sac (5w1d) and a yolk sac, but no fetal pole and no heartbeat.  I started to bleed heavily from tuesday to thursday and then it slowed down on friday.  Currently I am not even spotting.  Have I miscarried?  Or is there still potential for a viable fetus?  I have another u/s tomorrow and I'm really nervous.  Any advice is appreciated.

I have another u/s this afternoon and I'm nervous.  I know that all signs point to miscarriage but with a b/u, I can also still be pregnant.  The comfort I do take is that it is still early and anything is possible.  Thank you for your support I will keep you posted.

You had your u/s very early.  Most people don't have their first one until 6 wks.
I, my friend, think there is still much reason for hope!!!   Bleeding is quite normal in early pregnancy (or so they say).  And some people don't even see the hearbeat until their 2nd u/s (after the 1st at 6wks).  When is your next u/s????
I know this is easier said then done, but try to relax, and take it easy.  Stress is not good for you or your baby... so keep the faith, and hopefully the next u/s will have a great outcome!!!

Usually if there is no fetal pole or heartbeat, there is no pregnancy.  And if you were bleeding heavily, you probably miscarried.  I am sorry.  You will be in my prayers.
