This age of information can be such a blessing and such a curse.  I was told by my dr and also by the literature that I recieved from my RE visit, that just one m/c does not put you at any greater risk of having another one.  You have the same %'s as if you had never had one.

As far as being more fertile after a m/c - I've heard a ton of different opinions.  Some places on the internet say yes, while others say that it is an old wives tale.  Personally we waited for first AF before TTC again and now I'm on the fourth month post m/c - I would say no - but that's IMHO.

I have read you have an increased chance of having another miscarriage after having one (making it harder) and that you have increased fertility after a miscarriage (making it easier).  When I had my 1st mc I was pregnant again before I even had another cycle.  Then I mc that one and had a D&C and it took us 5 - 6 months to get pregnant again.

I've heard its easier, but it doesn't change the chances of having another m/c.

I had a m/c in 95 and got pregnant soon after, turned out to be an ectopic, then again after that and had a son. So personally I had no problem.

Im not sure it is either. I think it depends on your body and how it reacts to a m/c
