when to try again

i had my first miscarriatge on the 3rd of june 2008,and a week after i and my husband started trying again till now. is it ok? the miscarriage occur as if i put to birth. the child came out after which the placenta came out too. i bled for one week.
when should i be expecting my next period.

Im not sure of recommendations after natural m/c, i no a lot of women who gave birth and when they went to their 6 week check up they we preggo and carried baby to term.  I no after d&c you should wait after first cycle.  You should discuss options with you ob.  Sorry for your loss.  I will keep you in my prayers, we're gona ttc after 2 cylces so sometime in september.

Did your dr give you any kind of recommendation on when it would be ok to ttc.  Did the physician keep track to watch your hcg return to non-pregnant level.    My physician recommends at least one complete cycle before ttc.  Your body needs time to heal and return to the not-pregnant stage.  At the very least i would check with your ob for suggestions?
Everyones cycle after m/c is different i have had them start within 4 weeks and not until 6 weeks.
