excessive thinking

Iam a student in collage of medicine
my problem starts before more than 2 months at the end of the paediatric rotation , I start to feel nauseated all the time , mood changes i feel depressed , worry all the time , think of death ( it trouble me alot ) and cry alot even I can not stey alone but at the same time ifound it difficult to stey with my friends even with my family at home.all these increase at nigth , at home I can not sleep. I live in campus on wednesday i feel idont want to go home but  on friday i feel i want to stey at home. some time i cry to decide wheather to stey or not.
nusea now relieved after i have been diagnosed to have jaundice and traeted traditionally . but until now I am not improving it affect my study too much I can not study even for exams , i continously think badly mostly if i have free time . I try to encourage my self  and go with friends it show some benefit but only for a very short time. I tend not to talk about my problem thinking  iam going to solve it myself but I think it become worse . before few days was my birthday , i didnot feel happy despite the gifts my brothers gave me as i used to do in previuos years.
I experience same preoblem when I was in school.
I do well in my study and i have no family problems.

could you find solution to my problem.

the diagnosis is mixed anxiety and deprssion
still turble me alot , excessively think that bad thing will happen to me or to one of my family and cry alot, fear of death , do patients can have such symptoms or only me ?

It seems very likely that you have a major depression.

You need to see a doctor.

I did the test and I answered 9 items out of 10  with"Yes".

The only No was for question( doyou feel guilt? )

From what you say I suspect that you are having a clinical depression.

You could try this screening test online...

Let me know what the results are.

I would think that there should be some way of accessing help through student health?

there is no physical problems all invistigations were normal
i have previous history of iron defiency anaemia but now the heamoglobin is 13 and i have no symptoms.

what screening tests you mean?

I would see a doctor.

The jaundice reminds me of iron deficiency for some reason.  Iron deficiency can make you feel pretty low and affect your ability to concentrate, etc.

If the problem isn't physical (and you're not pregnant, etc) I would look for psychological causes.

It could be that that particular rotation has triggered memories and feelings of loss.

I would also asked to be screened for anxiety and depression.

Talk to a doctor.
