Thanks - I used fuerte abrazo yesterday with my doctor who isnt an MS specialist and we got by. She just said - its time to phone my consultant! However I have read various forum responses and there seems little more to do until it subsides. As tiredness and an increase in general weakness has accompanied it bed is a really nice option.
Hello
I am sorry I can't tell you this. MS hug seems to be a word that is not a medical term. I think it is a word that is used to describe muscle spasms due or caused by multiple sclerosis. A hug in spanish is abrazo...(an arm is el abrazo)... so this leads me to believe that the term they will use will have something to do with muscle spasms de parte de multiple sclerosis...there may be a special term, I will ask my native spanish speaking friends but as I never heard the term or knew what it referred to before I read it here in this site, I do not know if they will know what term is used. It is likely that the term used is different in the different Spanish speaking countries.
